Glossary A–ZLetter N

Network package

A network package is a predefined bundle of screens that is booked as a whole, for example all screens in a city, of one venue type or reaching one target group.

It has a single price and a single performance statement. Advertisers therefore do not have to select every location individually.

Network operators and sales houses put together packages based on characteristics that matter to advertisers. An example: a “fitness” package with all screens in gyms in a region, or a “city centre north” package with screens in shops and cafés in one district. Packages simplify offers and bookings and make it possible to sell less popular locations together with sought-after ones.

Advertisers want to know exactly what the package contains: how many screens, in which places, with which hours and impressions. If a location drops out or is added, it should be clear how this affects price and commitment. Operators should document package contents and report them per location in the playout report. A package does not replace audience measurement; it only organises the inventory.
