Car dealership showroom

A car dealership showroom is a dealer's display space where vehicles stand and screens show models, equipment and offers.

Typical are large landscape screens on the wall, totems next to the cars and video walls. Screens at reception and in the workshop's customer area are often added.

Day to day, the screens show models that are not in the room, colour and trim variants, finance examples and information about service and the workshop. In the workshop waiting area, waiting time, service offers and information about the business fit well. Where the manufacturer or importer provides content centrally, the dealership adds its own offers and prices.

Anyone advertising new cars must, under the German car energy-consumption labelling ordinance (Pkw-EnVKV), state energy consumption, CO₂ emissions and CO₂ class. The ordinance also covers advertising material in electronic form; operators should treat showroom screens accordingly as a precaution. Anyone showing prices must also observe pricing law. A picture without the mandatory details is an avoidable risk.
