Event schedule display
An event schedule display is a screen in hotels, conference centres or companies that shows which events take place that day in which rooms and at what times.
It usually stands in the entrance area and helps guests find their way.
The display lists the event, room, time and often an arrow showing the direction. The data comes from the venue's event or booking software, so changes appear without being entered twice. Outside the individual rooms, door signs then show the current event. For large congresses, programme overviews with talks are added.
Not every organiser wants to be named, for example for confidential meetings or job interviews. The display should therefore allow neutral titles. Finished events should disappear automatically. A clear, calm layout is important: guests want to find their room quickly and do not want to wait through an advertising block. Multilingual titles help with international guests. Short-notice room changes must be visible immediately.
